Proven Design: Construction of Cartridges
The mechanical seal design of cartridges has been shown to increase reliability. Because the seals are pre-assembled at the factory, pressure tested, and shipped together, performance is enhanced and mistakes from improper installation are decreased. A mechanical seal that is pre-assembled protects the seal faces from harm during installation, and cartridge construction removes the need to measure and set spring compression.
